Size and Lifespan: In captivity, the Albino Sailfin Pleco can grow to sizes of 18 inches (46 cm) or even larger. With adequate care, they can live for more than 10 years.

Their natural habitat should be replicated with strong water currents, a mixture of sand and gravel substrate, driftwood, and rocky formations. Regular water changes are crucial to maintain water quality.
Ideal Tank Mates: While generally peaceful, the Sailfin Pleco can be territorial with other bottom dwellers, especially others of its kind. Suitable tank mates include larger tetras, barbs, cichlids, and other sizable community fish.
